Blogging For Business

Does your blog help your business? If done well, it should!

Blogs require two things; commitment & time. Because of this, blogs need to have tangible benefits for your business - if not, why do it?

You never know when a prospective customer will find himself reading your blog? Maybe he saw it via a social media site? Maybe a friend found it relevant and passed it on to him? In any case, when writing your blog, you should always consider how this posting will convert into a sale or at minimum a "lead" with your target audience.

* A call to action is necessary. (as an account manager at Paparazzi Marketing, I can/will blog for you) What do you want to accomplish with this potential customer? Be specific!
* Updating your blog on a consistent basis is an absolute must! Once you get followers, it is important to keep them engaged. If they visit your blog and there is nothing new once - fine, if it happens multiple times, they will move on. People are fickle!
* Don't assume that visitors to your blog know who you are? Many of the folks who will land on this blog page at one time or another will have no clue what I do or what I sell. Be sure to put this information someplace on the page. www.paparazzimarketing.com.
*Encourage comments with compelling questions to your readers. Search engines consider comments important, the more comments the better, but on the net... nothing is straightforward.

Your blog is an important business tool. Blog posting as part of your business marketing strategy is one of the best ways to connect and interact with your current and potential clients.
